Nekisha unveils largest sustainable mattress line, Beautyrest Harmony, at SSB's first virtual tradeshow.

The 2020 Leading The Way trade show targeted retailers, consumers and media members, and provided a remote showcase of new products streamed live from company headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The event also included a showroom walkthrough, in-depth product tours, speeches by company officials and a celebrity host, TV chef G. Garvin. NEW YORK FASHION WEEK 

From the bedroom to the runway, Beautyrest and renowned designer Christian Siriano partnered together to prove it's always 

fashionable to be well-rested.

Through the partnership spearheaded by Nekisha, Beautyrest made a stylish debut at NYFW as a proud sponsor of Christian Siriano's highly-anticipated, first-class fashion show and generated headlines including 1.3 billion media impressions with high profile publications.​ Later, Nekisha launched the limited-edition wedding mattress inspired by Christian Siriano’s bridal collection at Macy’s and online retailers including Beautyrest.com

Nekisha owned and brought to market Beautyrest's Harmony Lux collection, the brands very first sustainable product line. She also led the advertising campaign and lifestyle photography direction to support retail, ecommerce and tradeshow launch. Her work has also been featured in Experience Life, Lifetime Fitness's award-winning health and wellness magazine and on display banners across Lifetime Fitness athletic clubs.

Beautyrest Black

In partnership with Badger & Winters, the advertising agency of record, Nekisha was a primary contributor for the rebrand of the Beautyrest brand. She in partnership with the brand team leveraged consumer insights to uncover the newly defined consumer target, brand positioning and brand architecture. In addition to the new advertising campaign development she also contributed to defining the visual brand language (i.e. brand look/feel, tone of voice, brand messaging, colors, logo, etc.).

Nekisha headed product development for the Goody hair accessories brand.  She successfully launched two leading product innovations, one of which has a design patent in her name. These product innovations were sold into major retailers and are still in market today:

Maclaren's BMW stroller, featuring high quality materials and signature design details, launched exclusively at Harrods department store in London, UK.

Maclaren collaborated with London based fashion designer, Orla Kiely, featuring her signature leaf-print design giving the Quest stroller a playful retro twist.
